Anna Karenina

"Anna Karenina is a 2012 British romantic drama
film directed by Joe
Wright and adapted by Tom
Stoppard from Leo
Tolstoy's 1877 novel of
the same name. The film depicts the
tragedy of married Russian aristocrat and socialite Anna Karenina and her affair with
the affluent Count Vronsky." (Compression may be required (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Karenina_(2012_film),

"Americans do not understand the Russian
soul!" How many times I've heard a similar phrase, and partly I agreed
with that, so I was not expecting much from it. I just wanted to look at Wright's
historical drama, and of course a new image of Keira Knightley is always
interesting. But how wrong I was before watching. How many new things I found for myself in this film.
How this film fascinated me, it's just an indescribable feeling. Everything struck
me in this film, accompanied music, masterfully staged performance. A change of
scenery has led me to the delight. How cleverly Wright came up with this idea.
It is clear that every year he only improves his skills. After seeing all of
his works, I was expecting something like that, but I was pleasantly surprised
by it. But there is a big minus in this movie, if you haven't read the book
first, you won't understand much of it. But if you are familiar with the plot,
the viewing of this film is a great way to freshen up your experience.
